Ashton Court sits across the Clifton Suspension Bridge from central Bristol, a Tudor and Elizabethan mansion in 850 acres of parkland.
The state rooms suit a more formal day; the surrounding deer park and stables courtyard suit the looser, walking-and-talking parts.
It's one of the most flexible venues I shoot at — equally good for a 30-guest civil ceremony as a 150-guest day.
