Wedding! Pete and Linzi in Berkshire

I think you’ll enjoy this wedding here…
Pete and Linzi contacted me a little while backing asking if I’d like to cover their wedding.
By the way it was described, it sounded just my cup of tea.
It turned out to be one of the most informal, intimate and relaxed weddings I’ve covered.
They had put so much effort into every little detail, it was incredible. Maybe it was Linzi’s degree in Fine Art that helped?
Really, it was the friends and family that made their day so special and resulted in me capturing some of my favorite images of the year.
As Pete is a police officer, the reception was held at the police training grounds in Berkshire, it also acts as a museum and a great wedding venue for officers, I was given pretty strict instructions as to what I was and wasn’t allowed to do.
Firing my Glock in the air to help me round up guests for the formals wasn’t really an option today.
You may call me crazy, but one of the things that made the day special for me was the weather.
It was…English, on a grand scale. We had beautiful sunshine, torrential rain, thunder and lightening.
When your reception is held in a little marquee, the English weather makes things interesting and when the beer tent is in a totally different marquee that also makes things fun!
Anyway, enjoy the pictures and as always, leave a comment.
They make me feel all happy!
Joseph.
