Chris & Hannah got married in Ross on Wye

So, you would’ve seen Chris & Hannah’s engagement shoot on my last blog post. Have a little look if you’d like.
Chris & Hannah got married just over the bridge in a beautiful area of the world where I used to spend my holidays.
Hannah along with her family and bridesmaids got ready at Flanesford Priory. This also served as a collection point for two vintage buses to take guests to the ceremony.
As one of the buses tried to set off, they discovered that it had a problem…Cue all men within 100 metres to offer up a push start!
I feel that little problems (that are easily solved) don’t spoil the day at all but help paint the picture of a great day. In short, hiccups don’t hurt anyone!

Back to the Manor and for the wedding breakfast, a “chosen” guest from each table was provided with a chef’s hat, an apron & some meat carving instruments. Their job was to carve a gorgeous piece of pork with crackling for the whole table. It was the perfect ice breaking exercise.
In fact, looking through this wedding, it had everything and it wasn’t until I started to prepare this post that I realised that I was thrilled with the outcome.

For reference, and because I want to highly recommend them, the caterers go by the name of Izzie’s.
The band, who I’ve worked with before at Hannah’s friends wedding (Hi Mark & Amy) are amazing & are called Half light.
Less than a week later they performed with equal amounts of awesome at another wedding I shot.

As always, I shoot in an almost entirely photojournalistic manner so none of the pictures have been set up.
